Resident for oral and maxillofacial surgery
After his studies in human medicine and dentistry at the Medical University of Vienna and short periods as a general practitioner in Tulln and Vienna, Dr. Wegner moved to Rosenheim. Settling in the foothills of the Alps in Upper Bavaria, Dr. Wegner spent more than three and a half years as a resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery at RoMed Klinik Rosenheim – following his dental license in July 2017. Since the beginning of 2021, he has been supporting the MFACE team and the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Helios Klinikum München West.
Dr. Wegner’s tasks at MFACE include health counseling, prevention, detection, non-surgical and surgical treatment, as well as aftercare, and the rehabilitation of diseases, injuries, fractures, tumors, malformations, and changes in form and function of the teeth or periodontium.
